Cancer Collective was founded by patients, clinicians, and researchers.
We empower patients to gain control
of and understand their medical records, both for themselves and for the advancement of cancer research.
What We Do
We work to empower people with cancer to gain control of their data.
Whether you're seeking to acquire your medical data from a hospital or lab, have never heard of genomic sequencing, or are wondering how to share your data, we can provide you with the information you need to gain control of your data.
Take Charge of Your Own Care
HIPAA law guarantees your access to all your clinical data from labs, hospitals, or doctor’s offices. Keeping track of your clinical data is a crucial step in taking charge of your own care, helping you to monitor your progress and identify personalized options for treatment.
Clinical data aside, genomic data is a useful data point that patients often overlook. Sequencing your cancer gives your doctor an individualized profile, enabling them to recommend specialized treatment plans that are tailored to you.
Give yourself the option of choosing the best course of treatment for yourself. If you would like to request genomic sequencing, we will provide you with resources.
Medicine Needs Your Help
Receiving precise care is informed by the most up-to-date science, but science is only as good as the data we give it. When you choose to donate your medical records, your contribution will help break down the silos that prevent
cancer research and treatment from progressing.
We will never sell your data. Instead, we are building a secure, confidential database that will allow researchers and clinicians to analyze cancer faster and more accurately.
Information is power. Not only does accessing your medical records help you make informed decisions about your own treatment, but donating it to our database assists reseachers and doctors in identifying new treatments. Your data could be someone else’s cure.
We are a group of patients, clinicians, and researchers who are passionate about helping people affected by cancer claim their health data. Collecting your own health data will allow you to personally research and choose the treatments that would work best for you.
As a nonprofit, we will not sell your data. Ever.
